About Me
I’m an integrative therapist and I’m here to support you in whatever it is you’re going through. Integrative therapy draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches. Namely psychodynamic, person-centred and humanistic. My approach is tailor-made to suit your needs. I work relationally, which means I value the therapeutic relationship - our relationship. I believe it to be the foundation of our work together.
Before becoming a therapist, I pursued a different career and tried different things. When I worked in the City of London, I witnessed the impact of a fast-paced life. I saw how people often felt pressure to hide how much they were struggling. It made me want to be there for people in those crucial times in their lives and so I decided on a career in psychotherapy. This particular path to making a difference is what I find truly rewarding. I also know reaching out and asking for support can be difficult. I understand that. But I can also tell you that therapy can be transformative and rewarding. Empowering and liberating.
I qualified at the Minster Centre in London, which is a leading psychotherapy training institute in Europe. As the world of psychotherapy evolves, I continue to engage with CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to keep my knowledge up to date.
Over the years, I have worked in a range of mental health organisations offering counselling and psychotherapy. I now work in private practice with adult individuals, offering short or long-term therapy. I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I practice according to their ethical framework. You can find me on the BACP register here. You can also learn more about me on Counselling Directory.
