Me & My Approach

I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to BACP’s Ethical Guidelines. I qualified at the Minster Centre in London, which is one of the leading institutions for psychotherapy training. I have worked with people from various backgrounds and with different presenting problems. I have also worked with organisations offering low cost therapy to various communities.

I’m an integrative therapist which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches. I believe one size doesn’t fit all.  I work relationally which means I value the therapeutic relationship - our relationship. I believe it is integral to our work together. I understand you might be seeking such a relationship. But I also understand how connection might be difficult for you. I know from experience what it is like to seek therapy. To sit with a stranger to talk about your life struggles. But I have also witnessed how powerfully therapy can transform lives.

I have worked with a wide range of problems and no topic is off-limits in therapy. So I ensure to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your difficulties with me. Whether you want to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns and your relationships. Whether you have more urgent issues, or self-destructive behaviours which are causing you distress. Whether you’re battling depression and anxiety. Everything is welcome between us. I will walk alongside you to enter your world. To see, listen for, and feel what is unique to your struggle. And to find out what is getting in the way of you living a more joyful, authentic and meaningful life.

Together, we will explore and experiment with new ways of being. Which will open up new possibilities in your life.
